The beginning…
The founders has their roots as general contractors in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Works include :
– Completed 7 storey office in Kuala Lumpur.
– Construction works for Colgate Palmolive and Unilever (formerly Lever Brothers).
– Oil refinery works for Esso at Port Dickson.
Growth
The group continued to flourish despite challenging market conditions and secured notable jobs like :
– Costruction works for Nestle and Cold Storage Creameries.
– Completed 8 & 9 storey office buildings, respectiely, in Kuala Lumpur.
Infrastructure Player
The founders expanded into infrastructure development and participated in nation building of Malaysia’s key infrastructure and nodes with project sums approaching MYR 60M. Participation in BTS projects include works for Guiness Anchor.
Flagship Company
Flagship company Glory Blitz Industries established – marking the start of the consolidation of the group’s business focusing on Build-to-Suit developments. Secured clientele include Unilever, UPS, Alfa Laval, Ondeo Nalco etc.
Ramping Up
For the 2 decades and beyond, Glory Blitz Industries and its group of companies have successfully completed BTSs in the form of production facilities and large format warehouses for many blue chip and Fortune 500 companies.
Beyond Borders
Fast track project handover of a 220,000 square feet facility to Third-Party Logistics specialist in Xing Wang Industrial Park, Beijing, China.
Atrium REIT IPO
In a series of corporate exercises, GBI sponsored and subsequently seeded various Atrium REIT assets.
Malaysia’s 1st
Completed the first double storey mega distribution center spanning > 1 million square footage.
Southern Hemisphere Foray
Executed and completed first transaction of an aviation industry specialized lab in Australia. This is the start of subsequent real estate transactions in the Oceania region.
Lighting up in the North
Working with the listed co, GBI more than doubled the market capitalization of Atrium REIT with two major simultaneous acquisitions in the Silicon Valley of the East – Penang.
